Method

Prepare Salad Base

  1. 1

    Wash and Chop Greens

Rinse the kale and romaine lettuce under cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel. Tear the kale into bite-sized pieces and chop the romaine into strips. Place both in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare Carrots and Cabbage

Peel the carrot and julienne or grate it. Thinly slice the red cabbage. Add both to the bowl with the greens.

  3. 3

    Add Parmesan

Sprinkle the shaved Parmesan cheese over the salad base.

Grill Hake

  1. 4

    Marinate Fish

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture over both sides of the hake fillets.

  2. 5

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  3. 6

    Grill Hake

Place the marinated hake fillets on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from grill and let rest for a couple of minutes.

Prepare Dressing

  1. 7

    Mix Dressing Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Assemble Salad

  1. 8

    Combine Salad and Dressing

Pour the dressing over the salad base and toss gently to combine. Adjust seasoning if needed.

  2. 9

    Top with Grilled Hake

Place the grilled hake fillets on top of the salad. Serve immediately and enjoy!
