Prepare the greens
In a large bowl, combine the kale and mixed lettuces. Toss together to mix well.

Sprinkle the shaved Parmesan cheese and croutons over the salad. Toss gently to combine.

Marinate the salmon
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the salmon fillets and let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

Prepare the garlic butter
In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until well combined.

Toast the bread
Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter evenly on both halves and place on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
