Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the greens

In a large bowl, combine the kale and mixed lettuces. Toss together to mix well.

  2. 2

    Add toppings

Sprinkle the shaved Parmesan cheese and croutons over the salad. Toss gently to combine.

Grilled Salmon Preparation

  1. 3

    Marinate the salmon

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the salmon fillets and let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 4

    Grill the salmon

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garlic Bread Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the garlic butter

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until well combined.

  2. 6

    Toast the bread

Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter evenly on both halves and place on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
