Method

Prepare the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Season the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with Cajun seasoning and 2 tablespoons of olive oil until evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are opaque and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Make the Dressing

  1. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, lemon juice, 1 cup of olive oil, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until emulsified.

Prepare the Salad

  1. 4

    Combine Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine kale, mixed lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and croutons.

  2. 5

    Dress the Salad

Pour the prepared dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.

  3. 6

    Add Shrimp

Top the salad with the cooked blackened shrimp.

Make Garlic Bread

  1. 7

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until well combined.

  2. 8

    Toast the Bread

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on both halves. Place on a baking sheet and toast in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes, or until golden.
