Method

Marinating the Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped fresh rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the ribeye steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that the steaks are well-coated. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.

Cooking the Steak

  1. 3

    Heat the Grill or Pan

Preheat a grill or a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Allow it to get hot before placing the steak on it.

  2. 4

    Cook the Steak

Remove the steaks from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the steaks on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.

  3. 5

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 6

    Chop the Vegetables

While the steak is marinating, chop the bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 7

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve it alongside the sautéed vegetables. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.

  2. 9

    Enjoy

Serve immediately and enjoy Brother Sebastian's Steak with your choice of sides!
