Prepare the Ribs
Rub the beef ribs generously with the beef rub. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Prepare the Smoker
Soak the wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes. Prepare your smoker and preheat it to 225°F (107°C).

Smoke the Ribs
Place the ribs in the smoker and add the soaked wood chips to the smoker box. Smoke the ribs for about 6 hours or until they reach an internal temperature of 203°F (95°C).

Add Barbecue Sauce
During the last 30 minutes of smoking, brush the ribs with barbecue sauce.

Prepare the Cornbread
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, whisk the egg and milk together, then add the melted butter. Combine both mixtures and pour into a greased baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Prepare Sides
Serve coleslaw and baked beans as sides to your smoked beef ribs.
