Method

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Eggs

Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them lightly with a fork or whisk. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted, pour the beaten eggs into the skillet. Cook until the edges begin to set, then gently stir with a spatula until the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness (scrambled, sunny-side-up, etc.).

Cooking the Meat

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon or Sausage

In the same skillet (or a separate one), add the bacon or sausage over medium heat. Cook until browned and crispy (about 3-4 minutes for bacon, 5-6 minutes for sausage), flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking. Remove from heat and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Toasting the Bread

  1. 4

    Toast the Bread

While the eggs and meat are cooking, toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown. Spread with butter or jam, as desired.
