Method

Tiki Toast

    Prepare the Bread

    Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden brown.

    Add Mango Puree

    Spread the mango puree generously on top of each slice of toasted sourdough.

    Garnish

    Sprinkle coconut flakes over the mango puree and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Crunchy French Toast

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

    In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.

    Coat the Bread

    Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.

    Coat with Cornflakes

    Press the coated brioche slices into the crushed cornflakes to create a crunchy coating.

    Cook the French Toast

    In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook the bread slices until golden brown on both sides.

Cinna-Cake

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

    Combine Wet Ingredients

    In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

    Mix Together

    Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

    Bake the Cake

    Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

    Allow the cake to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
