Burger Components

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the lettuce and slice the tomato into thin rounds. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood-smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet with a little bacon grease, crack the eggs and fry them sunny-side up for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Once the eggs are cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each egg and cover the skillet for 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the cut sides of the burger buns. On the bottom half, layer the lettuce, followed by the crispy bacon, the cheesy fried eggs, and the sliced tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
