Churro Mixture

Whipped Cream

Method

Churro Mixture

  1. 1

    Prepare Churro Coating

In a medium bowl, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

French Toast

  1. 3

    Make the Egg Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

  2. 4

    Dip the Bread

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated.

  3. 5

    Cook the French Toast

Add a small amount of melted butter to the skillet. Place the dipped bread slices on the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

  4. 6

    Coat in Churro Mixture

Once cooked, immediately coat each side of the French toast slices in the churro mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

Cream Cheese Icing

  1. 7

    Make the Icing

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until fully incorporated. Add vanilla extract and milk, mixing until it reaches a smooth consistency.

Whipped Cream

  1. 8

    Prepare Whipped Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer or whisk, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
