Tea Ingredients

Method

Brewing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the Earl Grey tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, remove the tea bags and set aside the brewed tea.

Preparing the Vanilla Milk

  1. 4

    Heat Milk

In another saucepan, pour in 1 cup of whole milk and heat over medium-low heat until warm, but do not let it boil.

  2. 5

    Add Vanilla

Once the milk is warmed, add 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the milk, stirring gently to combine.

  3. 6

    Froth Milk (Optional)

If you have a milk frother, froth the vanilla milk until it is light and airy. If not, you can whisk vigorously by hand.

Combining the Ingredients

  1. 7

    Mix Tea and Milk

In a large mug, pour the brewed Earl Grey tea into the mug, filling it halfway.

  2. 8

    Add Vanilla Milk

Top the tea with the steamed vanilla milk, filling the mug to the brim.

  3. 9

    Sweeten (Optional)

If desired, add sugar to taste and stir gently to combine. Enjoy your London Fog!
