Cooking Instructions

1

Prep the Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips or your desired fry shape.

2

Soak the Potatoes

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch.

3

Dry the Potatoes

Drain the water and pat the potatoes dry with paper towels to remove moisture.

4

Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

5

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add a batch of the dried potatoes to the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

6

Season and Serve

While still hot, season the fries with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Serve immediately.
