Prepare the bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into ½ inch thick slices and place them on a baking sheet.

Toast the bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Chop the tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Mince the garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves, then add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Prepare the basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves finely and add them to the tomato and garlic mixture.

Season the mixture
Add salt and black pepper to the topping mix as desired, then drizzle in the balsamic glaze and stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

Assemble the bruschetta
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato topping generously onto each toasted slice.
