Prepare the Steak
Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
- 2
- 3
Grill the Steak
Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
French Fries
- 4
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips to make fries.
- 5
Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 6
Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips in batches to the hot oil. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt while still hot.
Garlic Butter

Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic cloves and cook gently for about 2-3 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
