Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew the Coffee

Brew a cup of strong, hot coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.). Ensure the coffee is freshly brewed for the best flavor.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Glass

Take a heatproof glass or Irish coffee mug and preheat it by filling it with hot water for a few minutes. Discard the water before pouring the coffee.

  3. 3

    Mix the Alcohol

In the prepared glass, pour 1 oz of Jameson Irish Whiskey and 1 oz of Bailey's Irish Cream.

  4. 4

    Add Coffee

Pour the freshly brewed coffee into the glass, stirring gently to combine the whiskey and cream liqueur.

  5. 5

    Sweeten the Coffee

Add 1 tsp of sugar to taste, stirring until fully dissolved.

  6. 6

    Top with Cream

In a separate bowl, lightly whip the heavy cream until it thickens but still pourable. Gently pour the cream over the back of a spoon onto the coffee to create a layered effect.
