Method

Burger Patty Preparation

1

Prepare the Patty Mixture

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

2

Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form them into 8 oz. patties.

Cooking the Burger

3

Charbroil the Patties

Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness.

4

Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of white cheddar cheese on each patty, allowing it to melt slightly.

Preparing Toppings

5

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

6

Prepare Onion Rings

Fry or bake the onion rings according to package instructions, or make your own from fresh onions.

Assembling the Burger

7

Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

8

Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a burger patty, BBQ sauce, bacon strips, onion rings, tomato slices, and pickles. Top it off with the other half of the bun.
