Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Make the Cheese Sauce
In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 2 minutes until golden brown. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add Cheese
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the grated parmesan cheese, shredded white cheddar, and boursin cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
4. Combine Pasta and Sauce
Fold the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until well coated.
5. Prepare for Baking
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with panko bread crumbs and additional parmesan cheese.
6. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
7. Serve
