Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Hard Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a medium pot and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove from heat. Let sit for 10-12 minutes, then transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

Once the eggs are completely cooled, peel them and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, pickle relish, minced jalapeño, salt, and black pepper to the yolks. Mash everything together until smooth.

  3. 3

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Topping

In a small bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese. If desired, you can toast the panko in a pan until golden brown for extra flavor.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Deviled Eggs

Sprinkle the panko-Parmesan mixture on top of the filled eggs. Add crumbled pepper-candied bacon and chopped chives for garnish.

  6. 6

    Serve

Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor and presentation.
