Cookie Ingredients

Method

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  3. 3

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with both brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy and well combined.

  4. 4

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  6. 6

Add the chocolate chips to the cookie dough and fold them in until evenly distributed.

  7. 7

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  8. 8

Sprinkle a little sugar on top of each cookie for added sweetness and texture.

  9. 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.

  10. 10

Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm.
