Steak Bites

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rice Pilaf

In a medium saucepan, combine the rice and water or broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and fluffy. Remove from heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak Bites

While the rice is cooking, cut the steak into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté Onions and Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add sliced onion and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are browned.

  4. 4

    Combine Everything

Return the steak bites to the skillet, add the Brewtus sauce, and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  5. 5

    Serve

Fluff the rice with a fork and serve the steak bites and sautéed vegetables over a bed of rice pilaf.
