Dough Bites
Method
Preparation
- 1
Make the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well. Gradually add milk and water, stirring until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- 2
Cut the Dough
Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into bite-sized pieces, approximately 1 inch squares.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Dough Bites
Carefully drop the dough bites into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Serve
Serve the Brewser Bites hot with house marinara, garlic parmesan, and queso on the side for dipping.
