Preparing the Fries
- 1
Fry the French Fries
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the frozen French fries in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Assembly

Load the Fries
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). On a large baking sheet, spread out the fried French fries evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the fries. Next, add the crumbled bacon and sliced jalapeños on top.
- 3
Melt the Cheese
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- 4
Garnish
Once out of the oven, remove the loaded fries and sprinkle them with chopped green onions. Serve hot with a side of sour cream for dipping.
