Brownie Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Melt Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars

Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

  4. 4

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. 5

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  6. 6

    Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  7. 7

    Fold in Chocolate Chips

Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  8. 8

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  9. 9

    Cool and Cut

Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares.
