Method

Preparing the Patty

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the 100% Angus beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands to combine. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Preheat Grill/Pan

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, you may want to add a bit of oil to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Once the grill or skillet is hot, place the patties on it. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium doneness.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, wash and dry the lettuce. Slice the tomato and onion into thin rounds.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a minute. Take a burger bun, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom, followed by the cooked patty, tomato slices, onion rings, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot, with your choice of sides.
