Preparing the Chicken

Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Add the chicken breasts and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grill the Chicken
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C). Brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
Making the Coleslaw

Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix together the shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Chill
Cover the coleslaw and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Assembling the Sandwich

Assemble the Sandwich
Slice the grilled chicken and place it on the bottom half of each burger bun. Top with a generous portion of coleslaw and sliced pickles. Place the top half of the buns on each sandwich.
