For the House Salad

Method

Cooking the Ribeye Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This will ensure even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub each steak with olive oil, then generously season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add a sprig of fresh rosemary on top of each steak for added flavor.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Preparing the Fries

  1. 4

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

  2. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the cut potatoes into the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while hot.

Making the House Salad

  1. 7

    Prepare the Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 8

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 9

    Toss the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.
