Mussels Preparation

Clean the Mussels
Rinse the mussels under cold water, scrubbing the shells with a brush to remove any debris. Discard any mussels that are open and do not close when tapped.

Add Wine and Mussels
Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the cleaned mussels to the pot, cover, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels open up.

Finish with Herbs and Crème Fraîche
Once the mussels are opened, stir in the fines herbes and crème fraîche. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic (2 cloves) until well combined. You can add a pinch of salt for flavor.

Toast the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
