Directions
- 1
Prepare the Shrimp
In a bowl, season the peeled and deveined shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
- 2
Heat the Olive Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- 3
Sauté the Garlic
Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- 4
Add the Red Chili Flakes
Stir in the dried red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds, allowing the heat to infuse into the oil.
- 5
Cook the Shrimp
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
- 6
Deglaze with White Wine
Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
- 7
Finish and Serve
Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
