Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oven and Ramekins

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.

  2. 2

    Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until well combined. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture until smooth. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined.

  4. 4

    Fill Ramekins

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

  5. 5

    Bake

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let the cakes cool for 1 minute. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate, allowing the cake to gently release. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
