For the Escargot

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter

In a bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Escargot

If using canned escargot, rinse and drain them. If using fresh snails, ensure they are cleaned and prepared.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Dish

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish or individual escargot dishes, place the escargot. Spoon the garlic herb butter generously over each snail.

  4. 4

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the butter is bubbly and the escargot are heated through.

  5. 5

    Serve with Crostini

While the escargot is baking, prepare crostini by slicing a baguette and toasting the slices until golden brown. Serve the escargot hot with crostini on the side for dipping.
