Potatoes

Method

Potato Preparation

  1. 1

    Spiral Cut the Potatoes

Wash the Russet potatoes thoroughly and cut them into spiral shapes using a spiralizer. If a spiralizer is not available, you can cut them into thin wedges or fries.

  2. 2

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the spiral-cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and makes them crispier when fried.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oil

In a large deep pot or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer for accurate temperature.

  4. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. Carefully add a handful of the potatoes to the hot oil and fry for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Repeat

Continue frying the remaining potatoes in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot.

Burger Co. Sauce Preparation

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

  2. 7

    Season the Sauce

Add salt and black pepper to taste, mixing well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the crispy spiral potatoes hot with a side of Burger Co. sauce for dipping.
