Method

Preparing the Patty

  1. 1

    Season the Patty

In a bowl, season the Angus beef burger patty with salt and black pepper, ensuring an even coating.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of ghost pepper jack cheese on top of the patty and cover to melt.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 4

    Fry the Jalapeños

In a small saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add sliced jalapeños and fry until crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Slice the Tomato

While the burger is cooking, slice the large tomato into rounds and set aside.

  3. 6

    Prepare the Pickles

Gather pickles and set aside for assembly.

Toasting the Buns

  1. 7

    Butter the Buns

Spread butter on the cut sides of the burger buns.

  2. 8

    Toast the Buns

On a hot skillet or grill, place the buttered buns cut-side down and toast until golden brown, about 2 minutes.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 9

    Add Lettuce

Start by placing butter leaf lettuce on the bottom half of the toasted bun.

  2. 10

    Layer the Patty

Place the cooked Angus burger patty with melted ghost pepper jack cheese on top of the lettuce.

  3. 11

    Add Toppings

Layer the fried jalapeños, sliced tomato, and pickles on top of the patty.

  4. 12

    Add Sauce

Drizzle the spicy peach sauce generously over the toppings.

  5. 13

    Complete the Burger

Finish by placing the top half of the bun over the toppings and press down gently.
