Method
Preparing the Herb Cream Cheese
- 1
Mix the Cream Cheese Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, fresh dill, fresh chives, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Assembling the Midwest Sushi
- 2
Layer the Ingredients
Take a jumbo dill pickle and slice it lengthwise, creating two halves. Spread a generous layer of the herb cream cheese mixture onto the cut side of each pickle half.
- 3
Add the Ham
Place two slices of deli ham on top of each cream cheese-covered pickle half, pressing down gently to secure.
- 4
Close and Slice
Carefully close each pickle half together. Use a sharp knife to slice the stuffed pickles into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch thick.
Making the Burger Co. Sauce
- 5
Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving the Dish
- 6
Drizzle the Sauce
Arrange the sliced Midwest Sushi on a serving platter. Drizzle the Burger Co. Sauce over the top just before serving.
