Method

Prepare Chicken Fingers

1

Cut the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.

2

Set up Dipping Stations

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and place the bread crumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in the third bowl.

3

Coat the Chicken

Dip each chicken strip first in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the bread crumbs. Ensure each piece is evenly coated.

4

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

5

Fry the Chicken Fingers

Carefully add the coated chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare Fries or Fruit

6

Prepare the Fries

If using frozen potato fries, bake or fry them according to package instructions until crispy.

7

Prepare the Fruit

If using fresh fruit, wash and cut into bite-sized pieces to serve as a side.

Serve the Meal

8

Plate the Meal

On each plate, serve a portion of chicken fingers, either fries or fruit, a soft drink, and a cookie.

9
