Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients: bread, peanut butter, jelly, and butter. Make sure the butter is softened for easy spreading.

Assembly

  1. 2

Spread the Peanut Butter and Jelly

Take one slice of bread and spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter evenly on it. On the second slice, spread 2 tablespoons of jelly.

  2. 3

    Close the Sandwich

Place the jelly-covered slice on top of the peanut butter slice, creating a sandwich.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Preheat the Pan

Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Allow it to warm up for about 2-3 minutes.

  2. 5

Butter the Outside of the Sandwich

Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the outside of the sandwich. This will help it get crispy and golden brown while grilling.

  3. 6

    Grill the Sandwich

Place the sandwich in the skillet, buttered side down. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve with Sides

Once the sandwich is grilled to perfection, remove it from the skillet and cut it in half. Serve with a choice of fries or fresh fruit, a soft drink, and a cookie.
