Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Grilled Cheese Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Lay out the slices of bread and cheese. Take the butter out of the fridge to soften.

  2. 2

    Butter the Bread

Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Place a slice of bread (butter side down) in a skillet over medium heat. Add two slices of cheese on top, then place another slice of bread (butter side up) on top of the cheese.

  4. 4

    Grill the Sandwich

Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom slice is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the other side is golden brown.

  5. 5

    Remove and Slice

Once both sides are golden and the cheese is melted, remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it cool for a minute. Slice it in half diagonally.

Fried or Fresh Fruit Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare French Fries

If using frozen fries, follow the instructions on the package to bake or fry them until crispy.

  2. 7

    Prepare Fresh Fruit

Wash and slice the fresh fruit as needed, serving it in a small bowl.
