Method

Prepare the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Once done, remove from the grill and set aside.

Prepare the Cabbage Slaw

  1. 3

    Mix the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss together until well mixed. Set aside to let the flavors meld.

Make the Tangy Sauce

  1. 4

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together sour cream (or Greek yogurt), lime juice, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Assemble the Tacos

  1. 5

    Warm the Tortillas

In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

  2. 6

    Build the Tacos

On each tortilla, layer pieces of grilled fish, a generous portion of cabbage slaw, and drizzle with tangy sauce. Serve immediately.
