Method
Boneless Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches in size.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In one bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk and egg.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each piece of chicken first into the buttermilk mixture, then into the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the breaded chicken pieces in the hot oil and fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Toss in Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken pieces with your choice of wing sauce until evenly coated.
Beer Battered Fries
- 7
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and cut the potatoes into fry shapes, about 1/4 inch thick.
- 8
Soak the Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- 9
Make the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, beer, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- 10
Heat the Oil for Frying
In a pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 11
Fry the Potatoes
Drain and pat dry the soaked potatoes. Dip each fry into the batter, then carefully place into the hot oil. Fry for about 4-6 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Dipping Sauce
- 12
Serve the Dipping Sauces
Serve ranch and bleu cheese dressings in small bowls alongside the boneless wings and fries.
