Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they are crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Flip them halfway through to ensure even cooking. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

  2. 2

    Toast the Sourdough

While the bacon is cooking, toast the sourdough bread slices in a toaster or on a griddle until they are golden brown and crispy.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tomato and Lettuce

Wash the lettuce leaves and pat them dry. Slice the tomato into even slices.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. 4

    Spread Mayonnaise

Take two slices of the toasted sourdough and spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each slice.

  2. 5

    Layer Ingredients

On one of the mayonnaise-spread slices, layer the crispy bacon slices, followed by the lettuce leaves and then the tomato slices. Top with the second mayonnaise-spread slice of sourdough.

  3. 6

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately while the bacon is still warm.
