Avocado Fries

Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce

Method

Avocado Fries

  1. 1

    Prepare the Avocados

Cut the ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and carefully scoop out each half. Cut the avocado into wedges or fries, about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the all-purpose flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and combine the panko breadcrumbs with ranch seasoning and salt in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Avocado Wedges

Take each avocado wedge, coat it in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then roll it in the panko mixture until fully coated. Place the breaded wedges on a plate.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan or a deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Avocado Wedges

Carefully add the breaded avocado wedges to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

  6. 6

    Drain and Cool

Once fried, remove the avocado fries from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Season with additional ranch seasoning if desired.

Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce

  1. 7

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing, chipotle sauce, lime juice, and chopped cilantro. Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined.

  2. 8

    Serve

Transfer the chipotle ranch dipping sauce to a serving bowl and serve it alongside the avocado fries.
