Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Tear the pretzel bread into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Mix the Custard

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Bread and Custard

Pour the custard mixture over the torn pretzel bread. Gently fold the bread into the custard until evenly coated. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to soak.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Baking Dish

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter. Transfer the soaked bread mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.

  5. 5

    Bake the Pudding

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once baked, let it cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with warm caramel sauce before serving.
