Prepare the Miticrema Filling

Mix the Filling
In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
Make the Blackberry Compote

Cook the Compote
In a small saucepan, combine the blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the blackberries have softened and released their juices. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Prepare the Torrija Base

Heat the Skillet
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Fry the Torrija
Once the butter is hot, add the soaked bread slices. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
Assemble and Serve

Stuff the Torrija
Remove the cooked torrijas from the skillet. Spread a generous amount of miticrema filling between two slices to create a sandwich.

Serve with Compote
Top each stuffed torrija with the blackberry compote and drizzle with maple syrup. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
