Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Gather Ingredients

Collect all the ingredients needed for the mimosa: Cava, freshly squeezed orange juice, and any optional garnishes such as orange slices and mint leaves.

  2. 2

    Juicing Oranges

If using whole oranges, cut them in half and use a citrus juicer to extract fresh orange juice until you have 1.5 cups.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, pour 1.5 cups of freshly squeezed orange juice followed by 3 cups of Cava. Stir gently to combine, being careful not to lose the bubbles.

Serving

  1. 4

    Prepare Glasses

Chill your champagne flutes in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving for an extra refreshing drink.

  2. 5

    Pour and Garnish

Pour the mimosa mixture into chilled champagne flutes until they are about two-thirds full. Garnish each glass with a slice of orange and a sprig of fresh mint if desired.
