Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Tenderloin
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim any excess fat from the pork tenderloin and cut it into 1-inch thick slices.
- 2
Set up the Breading Station
In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and mix breadcrumbs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in the third bowl.
- 3
Bread the Tenderloin
Dredge each tenderloin slice in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Fry the Tenderloin
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded tenderloin slices in batches, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- 5
Assemble the Sandwich
To assemble, spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each burger bun. Add a layer of lettuce, followed by a slice of fried tenderloin, and top with sliced tomato. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.
