Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

Form the Iowa ground beef into a thick patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Grill the Burger

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the beef patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Add the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place the cheddar and Swiss cheese on top of the patty to melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the burger bun. Layer with lettuce, the cooked patty with melted cheese, bacon, tomato, onion, pickles, and finally, drizzle the Boozie sauce on top before placing the top bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Boozie Burger immediately with your choice of sides.
