Method

Preparation of Mimosas

  1. 1

    Chill the Ingredients

Place the bottle of champagne or sparkling wine and the fresh orange juice in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before serving. This ensures the mimosas are served cold.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Glasses

Select your champagne flutes or any preferred glasses. Optionally, you can chill the glasses by placing them in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes.

  3. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In each glass, pour 2 parts of chilled orange juice followed by 1 part of champagne or sparkling wine. The typical ratio is 2:1, but feel free to adjust based on your taste preference.

  4. 4

    Add Optional Variations

If you wish to experiment, substitute some of the orange juice with pineapple juice, cranberry juice, or peach puree. Mix gently to combine without losing the fizz.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish each glass with an orange slice on the rim. Serve immediately while it’s bubbly.
