Method

For the Grilled Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the salmon is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

For the Rice

  1. 5

    Rinse the Rice

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.

  2. 6

    Cook the Rice

In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.

For the Vegetables

  1. 7

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the broccoli and slice the carrots.

  2. 8

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped broccoli and sliced carrots, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender yet still crisp.
