Method

French Toast Preparation

  1. 1

    Whisk the Egg Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bread

Dip each slice of French bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Allow excess mixture to drip off.

  3. 3

    Cook the French Toast

In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the coated bread slices to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Add Cranberries and Walnuts

Once the French toast is cooked, sprinkle the dried cranberries and chopped walnuts on top of each slice while still in the skillet. Allow them to warm slightly (about 1 minute).

Fruit Side Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Fresh Fruit

While the French toast is cooking, wash and slice the strawberries and banana. Combine them with the blueberries in a serving bowl.
