Burger Assembly
Method
Preparing the Burger Patties
- 1
Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently with your hands until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Form Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into round patties, about 1 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.
- 3
Cook Patties
Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
Assembling the Burger
- 4
Toast the Buns
If desired, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 5
Prepare Tomato
Slice the tomato into thin rounds.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty. Top with a slice of tomato and drizzle the special sauce over the top before placing the other half of the bun on top.
- 7
Serve
Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of side dishes.
