Directions

   Prepare the Glass

   Chill a coupe or martini glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside.

   Mix the Ingredients

   In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Hennessy, 1 oz of Cointreau, 3 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 1 tsp of granulated sugar.

   Shake

   Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

   Strain and Serve

   Discard the ice water from the glass, then strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glass.

   Garnish

   Garnish with a twist of lemon peel on the rim of the glass.
