Assemble the Sandwiches
Spread Dijon mustard on one side of each slice of bread. On half of the slices, layer ham and Swiss cheese, then top with the remaining slices of bread, mustard side down.

Cook the Sandwiches
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the sandwiches and cook until golden brown on one side, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and add the remaining butter to the skillet. Cook until golden brown on the other side.

Add Bechamel and Cheese
Transfer the sandwiches to a baking dish. Pour the bechamel sauce over the top and sprinkle with additional Swiss cheese. Place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
